1. Who we are (Data Fiduciary)

NextBridge Learning & Growth Solutions (proprietor: Rishikesh Pandey), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, decides why and how your personal data is processed and is the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Contact: nextbridgelearning@gmail.com.

2. What we collect and why

Career Interest Test: the test runs in your browser. NextBridge does not collect, send or store the answers or results, and the test asks for no name, phone or email. When a test is finished, the page adds one to an anonymous counter (stored with Google Firebase) that only records how many tests have been completed and which question set is in use; it contains no personal data. If a school or class uses the printed version, the school holds the paper sheets and is responsible for them; for students under 18, schools should take verifiable parental consent before recording any result linked to a child, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (section 9). The admin sign-in page uses Google Firebase Authentication only for the NextBridge admin account.

Advertising: the Career Interest Test result page may show ads served by Google AdSense, clearly labelled “Advertisement / विज्ञापन”. Because students may use the test, we ask Google to show only non-personalised ads and to treat these requests as directed at children, so ads are not based on your browsing history or profile. Google may still use cookies or similar technologies for limited purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and measuring ads. See how Google uses information in ads. Ads never appear in printed or downloaded result sheets, and you never need to view or click an ad to see, print or download a result.

The quiz itself runs in your browser. We do not collect Aadhaar, ID documents, financial or other sensitive data. The quiz is meant for adults (18+); we do not knowingly collect children's data. The Student Survey is anonymous and asks for no name, phone, email or roll number; schools should run it under their own rules on student and parent consent.

2A. 20-Minute Growth Check, Student Survey and calculators

When you submit the 20-Minute Growth Check (or the Student School Survey), I collect the details you enter — your name, role, school name, contact details, your answers and score — to prepare your no-cost report and contact you about it. This is processed on the basis of your consent under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), given by ticking the consent box on the form. The forms are about the school, not individual students: please do not enter students' or parents' personal details. The Capacity and Staffing Calculators run only in your browser and do not send the figures you type to me. Retention, your rights and the Grievance Officer contact below apply to these submissions too.

2B. Contact form

When you use the contact form on the home page, I collect your name, school name and city, phone or WhatsApp number, email (optional) and message, only to reply to your enquiry. This is processed on the basis of your consent under the DPDP Act, given by ticking the consent box. Submissions are stored by Netlify and kept for 12 months, as described below.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the consent box on the quiz, 20-Minute Growth Check, Student Survey or contact form (Section 6, DPDP Act). To withdraw consent, email nextbridgelearning@gmail.com with the subject "Withdraw consent"; we will stop processing and delete your data within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Training updates are sent only with your separate, optional consent. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing done before it.

4. Processors and cross-border storage

We use these service providers (Data Processors) to run the website and store submissions:

• Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and form submissions
• Google LLC (Google Sheets, Apps Script, Gmail) — storing registrations/results and emailing new-registration alerts

These services may store data on servers outside India (for example in the USA). Transfers are made only to countries not restricted by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.

5. Retention

We keep registration and result data for 12 months from submission, then delete it (including from Netlify form submissions and the Google Sheet), unless you ask us to delete it earlier or the law requires us to keep it longer. A certificate ID can no longer be verified online after deletion; your downloaded certificate remains yours.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can, by emailing nextbridgelearning@gmail.com:

• Access — get a summary of your data and how it is processed
• Correction and completion — fix wrong details (e.g. name or school spelling)
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data
• Withdraw consent — for storage and/or updates (reply "STOP" to any update to stop updates)
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us (see below)
• Nominate — name a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

We may ask you to confirm your identity (e.g. from the email used to register) before acting on a request.

7. Grievance Officer

8. Security

Submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet and Netlify account accessible only to NextBridge, protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication (2FA). Access is limited to what is needed to issue certificates. Our public verification page shows only name, school, quiz, date and score — never mobile or email.

9. Data breach

If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act and its rules, describing what happened, likely impact and the steps taken.

10. No sale of data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and do not share it with anyone except the processors listed above or where required by law.

11. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking tools. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of normal web requests. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.

12. Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and show the new "last updated" date. Last updated: 23 October 2026.
